Casa Charleston is an old 18th century Tuscan farmhouse located in a unique and quiet position, a few steps from the city of Cortona, which was brought to international fame thanks to the writer Frances Mayes who lives nearby Villa Bramasole.
The entrance to the house opens onto a bright and spacious room connected to the large living and dining area by a beautiful arch.Three French windows provide abundant light and have direct access to the panoramic terrace and the green lawn.
From the dining area, a large opening and a comfortable stone staircase lead to the bright and colorful kitchen, consisting of a red travertine worktop, wooden cabinets, double sink in
marble grit, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob, masonry hood.
An independent counter houses an induction hob and built-in extractor hood.
The kitchen has two windows and a glass door opening onto the back garden.

Access is via a picturesque paved road 700 meters from the main road leading to Cortona.The house has a wrought iron gate, ample parking, panoramic terrace partly in stone and partly in lawn, tall and fruit trees, shrubs, wisteria, oleanders, and land owned by 1 hectare and 3.500 meters with olive trees (260 trees).
From the property you can walk to Cortona in about 25 minutes admiring the truly breathtaking view of the valley, the beauty of the natural landscape and the glimpse of Lake Trasimeno.
